Affiliate Tracking

When a link or banner-ad from an affiliate’s site is clicked by a visitor, the visitor is taken through the affiliate website, where a cookie is placed on their computer. This cookie allows the affiliate sale to be tracked, even if the visitor doesn’t even purchase from your site immediately.

With Affiliate Tracking, an expiration period is set. Typically this is between 30 and 90 days. So long as an order is placed within this period, the affiliate is tracked.
